C.A.T.S. could not operate without the generosity of the people and businesses who support our programs.
C.A.T.S. has been in operation since 1990. If the 12,000 kittens and cats that we sheltered, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered in that time had been left to run wild, the county would be overrun with sick and malnourished kittens and cats reproducing exponentially.
As much as we love what we do, we strongly depend on the community’s financial support to keep C.A.T.S. afloat. Here are some details of what it takes to make C.A.T.S. run:
- The average monthly cost we incur in order to maintain our high standards of care and cleanliness at the shelter is $15,000.
- C.A.T.S. facilitates approximately 375 cat adoptions per year.
Recurring monthly donations are the most helpful means of ensuring that we can continue our mission to save and re-home the abandoned and forgotten cats of Jackson County.
